Materials You’ll Need

Miniature velvet fabric (available in our shop) – creamy white, beige, or any soft color you like
Cotton stuffing
Basic sewing tools: needle, thread, scissors

For the best result, use velvet fabric for mini plush making – it gives the goose a soft, vintage feel that’s absolutely perfect for small projects.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the pattern
Print and cut out the free pattern pieces. Trace them onto your velvet fabric.

Step 2: Cut with seam allowance
Leave about 2–3 mm seam allowance when cutting around each piece.

Step 3: Sew the snout to the body
Stitch the goose snout onto the front of the goose body.

Step 4: Close the top opening of the head
Sew up the opening at the top of the goose head.

Step 5: Assemble the body
Sew the two side body pieces together with the belly piece.

Step 6: Make the wings
Sew each pair of wings together, leaving a small opening for turning. Turn right side out.

Step 7: Attach the wings
Sew the finished wings onto both sides of the goose body.

Add stuffing before fully closing the body, and don’t forget to insert a hanging loop if you’d like to turn your goose into an ornament.

Use a miniature velvet for a soft, slightly textured finish
