In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of making a miniature cat plush doll step-by-step.
Materials you will need:
- Pattern
- Felt fabric
- Stuffing
- Fabric glue
- Ribbon

You can simply download the print out the pattern, or trace the pattern on top of your computer’s screen. Remember to pay attention of the size chart on pattern, it helps you to make sure your work turn out is a suitable size for a Blythe doll.
Step 1: Cutting the Felt Fabric
Start by cutting out two identical cat shapes from the felt fabric.
You can use any cute plush fabric you want. Here we also suggest our special plush fabric on grid base. The fabric has a very short 1mm pile and strong backing. It’s a perfect material for making miniature dolls. Check more details of the fabric: Ministoff (grid backing)
Step 2: Sewing the Cat Shapes Together
Place the two cat shapes together, with the right sides facing each other and sew around the edges. Carefully cut a small opening on the back of the doll for stuffing. Stuff the cat shape with the stuffing material and sew the opening shut.
Step 4: Adding Facial Features
Embroider the cat’s eyes and mouth with thin floss.
Step 5: Adding arms
Cut out the shapfe of two arms. Use glue to attatch them on the cat’s body. Use the same embroidery floss to sew the paw pattern.
Step 6: Finishing Touches
